Today marks an exciting new chapter in my life. I've always been a typical ADHDer, finding myself constantly engaged in new hobbies every six months or even sooner. My mind tends to go through phases of hyper fixation followed by burnout. But now, armed with an official ADHD diagnosis and a desire to work with the way my brain functions, I've set some new rules for myself when it comes to hobbies.

One of my long-standing goals has been to foster consistency in my creative pursuits, and I've discovered that one of the keys to achieving this lies in collaboration. I firmly believe in the power of working with others, especially in the creative process. So, I reached out to a couple of my friends, Nate and Chuk, to discuss the possibility of embarking on a new venture together.

Chuk has been immersed in the world of Dungeons & Dragons since childhood, and Nate has experienced tremendous success with his own systems, having run numerous games and even achieving success with Kickstarter campaigns. Given their backgrounds and shared passion for tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs), I thought it would be a perfect opportunity for us to collaborate.

To my immense pleasure, both Nate and Chuk expressed genuine excitement and agreed to join me on this journey. We immediately delved into brainstorming sessions, where we explored various ideas within the TTRPG space. We knew we wanted to create something that would allow us to play and explore the myriad systems that Nate and I had been collecting over the years.

After much discussion and deliberation, we settled on the concept of an actual play podcast and YouTube channel. We wanted to share our TTRPG adventures with a wider audience, showcasing our experiences, creativity, and the joy we find in these games. And thus, we named our project "Tabletop Rocks."

I cannot contain my excitement as I envision the possibilities that lie ahead for us. This collaboration promises to be an incredible journey of creativity, camaraderie, and exploration. Together, we will dive into countless worlds, create memorable characters, and weave intricate stories that will captivate both us and our future audience.

I have no doubt that there will be challenges along the way. But I firmly believe that with our combined skills, experiences, and shared passion, we will overcome any obstacles that come our way. Our diverse perspectives and unique strengths will undoubtedly enhance the content we produce, making it all the more engaging and enjoyable.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to embark on this venture with such talented and supportive friends. Together, we will carve a path in the TTRPG community, leaving our mark and spreading the joy and wonder that these games bring.
